Wood is the perfect example of an environmentally sustainable product; it is biodegradeable and renewable, and has the lowest carbon footprint of any comparable building material. It requires no fossil fuels to produce and whilst growing is removing CO2 from the environment. Its natural insulating and cold –bridging properties make it the perfect material for windows, doors, floors and cladding.
We source our wood from a small number of reputable suppliers who have industry accreditations for responsible purchasing and distribution, from organizations such as the Timber Trade Federation, the Forest Stewardship Council and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification.
